The Scandinavian real estate owner Proark has taken over the operational management of four Vienna House by Wyndham hotels in Stralsund, Rostock and Eisenach. The portfolio comprises Baltic Stralsund, Sonne Rostock, Kleine Sonne Rostock and Thüringer Hof Eisenach. With this step, Proark is reinforcing its growth strategy in the hotel market while also sending a clear signal in support of sustainable development, investment in existing locations and the safeguarding of jobs.
Proark specializes in hotel real estate and hotel operations and runs more than 20 hotels across Scandinavia, Germany, France and the United Kingdom. The company’s aim is to develop its properties over the long term while strengthening both their economic performance and regional relevance.
At the heart of the acquisition are the sustainable modernization of the four hotels, the protection of jobs, great guest experiences, and the development of tailored offers for each individual region. Over the next three years, the properties are set to undergo extensive refurbishment in order to continue meeting the expectations of both regional and international guests in the years ahead.
