Proark strengthens hospitality platform with new Head of Hospitality

Proark is entering the next phase in the development of its hotel business and is strengthening its hospitality capabilities accordingly.

Effective April 1, Marianne Holst Pedersen has joined Proark as Head of Hospitality. The appointment reflects continued expansion across the company’s hotel portfolio as well as a strong pipeline of new opportunities, positioning hospitality as a key strategic focus area going forward.

Marianne brings more than 20 years of experience from the hotel and hospitality sector. She has held senior leadership roles at organizations including NREP (UMEUS & Noli), Tetriis Asset Management and Scandic Hotels, where she has been responsible for pre-opening, operations and commercial development of large-scale hotel and co-living projects.

She is recognized for combining strong operational execution with a clear commercial and strategic mindset, as well as for building and leading high-performing teams across organizations.

A carefully planned transition

The organizational changes build on a strong foundation and reflect a carefully planned transition.

Allan, who previously stepped down as CEO and has since served as Head of Hospitality, has played a central role in shaping Proark’s hotel business during an important phase of its development.

With more than 50 years of professional experience, Allan has chosen to step back from the role to prioritize more time with his family. He will continue as an external advisor, remaining closely involved in several key hotel projects, including Aspenäs, Astoria, Billund, Pier 5/Slotshotellet, Travemünde and Varberg. By mutual agreement, his involvement may also be extended to additional projects.

Positioned for continued growth

With Marianne Holst Pedersen leading the forward-looking development and Allan remaining closely involved, Proark ensures both continuity and access to extensive experience—providing a strong foundation for the continued growth of its hospitality business.
