We are pleased to share that Proark has increased its ownership stakes in three long-standing hotels in our Danish portfolio – all key assets within our Nordic hotel strategy.
Pier 5 Hotel – from 50% to 100%
A waterfront hotel in Aalborg, originally constructed in 1986 and fully renovated in 2021. The hotel offers 154 modern rooms and is operated by Bühlmann Hotels.
Hotel Astoria – from 30% to 57.5%
Located next to Copenhagen Central Station, the historic hotel dates back to 1935 and was designed as a station hotel for the Danish State Railways. The property offers 93 rooms.
Thon Partner Hotel Sorø – from 30% to 95%
Situated just outside Sorø, the hotel offers 93 rooms, surrounded by local vineyards and home to Denmark’s largest thatched roof. The hotels in Sorø and Copenhagen are operated by CIC Hospitality, a long-standing and trusted partner.
The increased ownership allows Proark to further consolidate positions in assets we know well and have worked with for many years.
